Facing a life-threatening illness is a deeply emotional and challenging time for both individuals and their loved ones. At Acire Care, our Palliative Care at Home service is designed to offer compassionate, respectful, and dignified care, ensuring comfort and support for everyone involved.
We understand that each individual’s journey is unique, and we provide personalized care at every stage, from diagnosis and treatment to recovery, ongoing management, or end-of-life care. Our focus is on improving quality of life, offering emotional support, and ensuring that personal wishes and preferences are honored.
Our Palliative Care Services
We offer two types of Palliative Care, tailored to meet your needs:
- Palliative Live-In Care – Full-time support from a dedicated care assistant, allowing you to remain comfortably at home.
- Palliative Care at Home – Flexible, scheduled visits to provide care as needed while maintaining independence.
Our care services include:
- Personal care (bathing, dressing, mobility assistance)
- Pain and symptom management (medication administration, oxygen therapy)
- Emotional and spiritual support for both individuals and family members
- Meal preparation and assistance with eating
- Household tasks (cleaning, shopping, laundry)
- Pet care so you don’t have to worry about your furry companions
- Liaising with healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Supporting family members in making necessary arrangements
A Person-Centered Approach
We believe that care should be as individual as you are, which is why we create a tailored care plan in collaboration with you, your family, and any healthcare professionals involved. Our small team of fully trained and compassionate care assistants ensures continuity of care, so you are always surrounded by familiar and trusted support.
Frequently Asked Questions
Before starting care, we create a detailed care plan outlining agreed-upon tasks. This plan can be modified at any time to ensure your needs are always met.
We strive to provide consistent care by assigning regular care staff. In cases of staff holidays or emergencies, we will communicate any changes with you in advance.

Payment terms are agreed upon before care begins. We provide billing twice a month, with payment options including Standing Orders, BACs Transfers, or Cheques.
Our office operates Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM. We also provide an out-of-hours service for urgent care issues, available 7 AM – 10 PM, seven days a week.
