Acire care through Cedar House aims to provide an environment where young people can thrive and can realize their potential by being provided avenues and paths to their education, physical and mental growth and their future choices be it in education, health and social settings while living in a safe, secure and pleasant environment. Acire care will enable young people to realize all the opportunities available to them within the society they live. We aim to enhance the lives of young people by enabling them to make the most of outstanding learning opportunities within and beyond social care for look after children; instilling an appreciation that there are no limits to what they can achieve and developing the attributes needed to successfully shape and respond to the future. A clear secular moral framework will promote honesty, integrity, tolerance and respect as well as an appreciation of individual and collective responsibility. In this way we will bring out the very best in our young people.
It is the objective of Acire Care to provide care to all our resident children to a standard of excellence which embraces fundamental principles of Good Care Practice, and that this may be witnessed and evaluated through the practice, conduct and control of quality care in the Home.
It is the objective of the Home that children shall live in a clean, comfortable and safe environment, and be treated with respect and sensitivity to their individual needs and abilities. Staff will be responsive to the individual needs of children and will provide the appropriate degree of care to assure the highest possible quality of life within the Home.

We Provide Care

Acire Care provides customising our services to meet the individual needs of the young people within our care. We provide community solo and dual residential placements for young people with complex emotional and behavioural issues.

We Collaborate With Others

multi-agency framework. linking with Education institution such as schools, colleges, universities and independent learning environment and 1:1 tutoring sessions. Employment and A wide range of apprenticeship opportunities through collages and the National Apprenticeship Service website. We also work with counselling, sexual health, mental health and more

We Support With Education

All young person will be encouraged to participate in Education. This can be in conventional settings such as schools or collage however we also work with organisations who provide 1:1 support virtually and in-person who require additional support or have with learning difficulties.

We Support and Mentor

Each young person, supporting and encourage young people towards the next stage of their journey. We support young people to become resilient and independent. Working in collaboration to improve their confidence to ‘speak up’ and socialise Our services to children are aimed at maximising their independence and improving their ability to live independently as possible in the community and these vary from.

Security and Protection

We have robust policies and procedures to ensure people can live their lives free from abuse, harm and intimidation All of our staff are trained in safeguarding awareness. If you have any concerns that you or someone else is being abused or at risk of abuse, please contact staff at one of our offices or services. We deal with information confidentially, but where abuse of a vulnerable adult or child is disclosed we are duty-bound to report the matter to the relevant local authority safeguarding team.
